Several days later, after the Fullmetal Alchemist and his brother had uncovered the truth in Liore to its population and defeated the false priest, Father Cornello, both Lust and Gluttony appeared to the priest within the cathedral as he attempted to escape the enraged masses. Expressing pity over the death of McDougal due to his status as a "human pillar", she paused briefly in order to chastise Gluttony over eating weird things, before returning to the phone and mentioning their plan would begin very soon. Plot Strife in Liore įirst appearing after the emergency situation in Central involving the Freezing Alchemist, Lust was seen reporting to somebody over the phone about the progress in Liore, apparently stationed within the town's cathedral. She wasn't above admitting defeat though, and gladly recognised Mustang to be a man worthy of killing her due to his personal nature, despite then wishing for him to suffer afterwards. As such she felt no remorse over manipulating or killing, gleefully watching the village of Liore fall into chaos and civil war. Often being shown to view humans as far beneath herself, Lust would often comment on the ridiculousness of human nature. However like most homunculi, Lust did take especial pride in her existence as a superior being to humans. While Greed was greedy, and Gluttony was gluttonous, Lust herself was never shown as being particularly lascivious and instead serving as the object of other's desires. Also separating her from her brethren, Lust did not display any personality traits based after her namesake. Notably more sadistic than her siblings, Lust displayed distinct pleasure in torturing her opponents and making them suffer, such as during her fight with Roy Mustang and Jean Havoc in Research Laboratory 3. Wearing a high-collared purple dress, red gloves and tying her long hair to one side, Lust instead relied on acting with a charming personality to seduce men, in this case Jean Havoc. Lust had also been seen wearing an alternative outfit while working under the alias of "Solaris", where she instead appeared very modest in her choice of wardrobe.
Her Ouroboros mark is located on her sternum. Her regular attire consisted entirely of dark clothing, where she wore elbow length gloves, black high heeled boots and a low-cut dress.

Pride's shadowy body was destroyed when Edward converted himself into a human Philosopher's Stone and confronted Pride's soul - destroying it with a punch. It should also be noted that some homunculi have a tiny true form that may appear if their main body is destroyed, such as Envy and Pride. A homunculus can regenerate its body if it sustains fatal injuries, and if its Philosopher's Stone runs out of power (souls), Father can re-absorb it and restock it, as he did for Gluttony. Pride was certainly defeated but he wasn't destroyed for good like the other six homunculi were. This is the one, loose exception to the rule.
